There were some tense moments on the city's northwest side early today, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say an accident which was caused by road rage ended when one of the cars involved veered off Northwest Military Highway near Huebner Rd. about 12:30 this morning and snapped a three quarter inch natural gas line.
The area had to be evacuated while CPS Energy crews came in and shut off the gas.
Nobody was hurt and the area is now back to normal.
