A man is in critical condition and in a lot of pain after being shot in the groin while he stood on a downtown streetcorner early today, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say the man, who is in his late forties or early fifties, was standing at the corner of South Presa and Monitcello about 12:30 this morning when somebody drove by and fired one shot, then sped away.
Police think there is a lot more to this. They say the victim refused to give them any information about the shooting. They describe him as 'very uncooperative.'
No word on suspects.
