A man was found shot early today inside the Haven for Hope, the City's large shelter for the homeless northwest of downtown, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Staffers heard gunshots about midnight, and when they investigated they found a man in his mid twenties lying in a walkway of one of the buildings, bleeding from at least one and possibly more bullet wounds.
He was rushed to the hospital in extremely critical condition and may not survive.
Other than the staffers who heard the shots, police have no witnesses, clues, motive, or suspects in the shooting.
