Last month's church bus tragedy in Uvalde County just gets worse.
Police in New Braunfels tell News Radio 1200 WOAI that Dianne Barrett, the widow of Murray Barrett, who was driving the First Baptist Church bus that was hit head on by a pickup truck, has been found dead in her home, and police say foul play is not suspected.
The church released a statement saying it is 'deeply saddened' by Mrs. Barrett's death.
Mr. Barrett and 12 others from the church died when the bus was returning from a retreat in Leakey.
A medical examiner will determine the cause of Mrs. Barrett's death.
A witness to the wreck told 1200 W-O-A-I news that the driver of the pickup, 20 year old Jack Young of Leakey, told him while he was still pinned inside the vehicle, that he was 'sorry' and he 'had been texting' at the time of the wreck.
