U.S. Carrier Group Moving Toward Korean Peninsula

A U.S. Navy  strike group is en route to the Korean peninsula as concerns grow over North Korea's weapons program.  The commander of the U.S. Pacific  Command on Saturday ordered the strike group led by the USS Carl Vinson  to move from Singapore to the western Pacific Ocean.  The group had  previously been scheduled for a series of port stops in Australia.   Earlier this week, North Korea conducted another ballistic missile  launch in defiance of UN sanctions.
