A 26 year old man is facing multiple charges after he rear ended a police officer with his motorcycle on Loop 410 on the north side overnight, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say the man was speeding in excess of 90 miles an hour and officers turned on their red lights and tried to stop him, but he only sped on down the road.
So, at the Honeysuckle exit, an officer got in front of him, but the motorcyclist was going too fast and he smashed into the back of the patrol car, then lost control and careened into the median.
The man wasn't hurt, but his joyride will cost him. He's facing multiple traffic charges, as well as charges of evading arrest.
