San Antonio police say two people were shot in an apparent home invasion on the city's east side overnight, but the gunmen may get away because the victims won't tell them anything about the incident, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
What detectives do know is that two gunmen entered the home in the 300 block of Hammond, which is just off Pine Street, about 11 Wednesday night.
Both men were shot in the lower extremities, and neither suffered life threatening wounds.
But the victims won't tell detectives who shot them, why they were shot, whether anything was stolen or demanded, even whether the suspects knocked at the door, or broke the door down.
Like all home invasions, detectives don't think this was an isolated, random incident.
