Former TCU star quarterback Treyvon Boykin, whose arrest for assaulting a San Antonio Police Officer on the Riverwalk was the big story of the 2016 Alamo Bowl, was arrested again this morning, this time in Dallas, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Dallas Police tell News Radio 1200 WOAI Boykin was a passenger in a car being driven by Shabrika Bailey, 25, when Bailey accidentally threw the car into reverse and ran over several people walking down Howell Street, which is in the poplar Uptown section of Dallas, and then smashed into the wall of a bar.
Several people were hurt, including a bartender inside the bar. Seven people suffered injuries so serious they had to be hospitalized.
Boykin, who was a passenger in the car, was arrested for public intoxication and possession of marijuana.
Boykin is now a quarterback with the Seattle Seahawks.
