A Bexar County Detention Officer is in detention and may be out of a job after he was arrested for beating up his wife, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Deputies were called to a home on Candlebrite, which is off Binz-Engleman in Northeast Bexar County on a report of a disturbance.
When they arrived, they found the deputy had assaulted his wife.
The deputy was charged with Assault Family Violence and Unlawful Restraint.
Sheriff's officials said a 'change in his employment status is likely.'
