(Seoul) -- South Korean officials say North Korea's latest missile tests failed. South Korean media reports that several missiles were fired and that it appears the launches were failures. It's not known how many missiles were fired or what kind they were. A South Korean defense spokesperson said both South Korea and American forces are aware of the launch. Earlier this month, North Korea launched four missiles that landed in Japanese water.
