Police Seek Serial Armed Robber in Four Northeast Side Stickups

Police are looking for a serial armed robber, who stuck up, or attempted to stick up, four fast food outlets on San Antonio's northeast side within the space of an hour overnight  , News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

The crime spree started about 10:30 Tuesday night when the man, wearing a black hoodie and black bandana, walked into a Subway on Austin HIghway and demanded money at gunpoint.

He then made his escape on foot, but he obviously had a ride, because about eight minuts later, the same man showed up at another Subway at Rittiman and I-35.

In this attempt it turned out the restaurant was closed, but employees inside saw what was happening and called police.

But the night's work was just beginning.

He then walked into a Wingstop at Loop 410 and Rigsby, and demanded money at gunpoint, making his escape on foot behind the nearby Walmart.

About ten minutes later, the same man attempted a stick up at a restaurant at Loop 1604 and I-10, but was told by the manager that he didn't have the combination to the safe, so he fled empty handed.

Nobody was hurt in any of the hold ups, and police are still looking for the suspect.
