Brother and Sister Gunned Down as They Answered Their Front Door

A 26 year old woman and her 22 year old brother were gunned down in a hail of bullets when they answered a knock at the door of their east side home shortly before midnight Monday night, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

Police say the siblings were ni a home in the 4300 block of Sun Vista Lane, which is near the Main Post Office in Perrin-Beitel Road, when two men knocked at their front door.When the two opened the door, but were immediately shot.  

The woman was shot in the chest and neck, and her brother was shot in the leg.  

The woman died at the hospital, the man is listed in critical condition.

The suspects then jumped into a waiting pickup truck and sped away.

Police have no idea why the two were shot, and they have no suspects in the case.
