North Korea fires missile into the Sea of Japan

The South Korean military says North Korea fired an unidentified projectile that landed in the sea.  It was fired from a region in the northern part of the country where a known missile base is located.  The launch comes as U.S. and South Korean military forces are conducting annual military drills.  About a month ago North Korea conducted a ballistic missile test.
