A 16 year old boy who police say was being bullied by a man in his thirties provided some painful payback early today, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police were called to the 100 block of San Gabriel, which is located on the city's west side, about 3 AM on a report of a disturbance.
They were told that the older man was going to 'beat up' the teenager again, but discovered the youngster had armed himself and was prepared to fight back.
The older man was stabbed in the back and stomach and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
Police say the teen surrendered without incident and detectives are trying to confirm his story of self defense.
