Veteran sportscaster Bob Costas won't be hosting next year's Winter Olympics in Korea. Costas made the surprise announcement this morning on NBC's "Today" show. The 65-year-old Costas told viewers he will remain with NBC sports, but is stepping away from regular hosting duties. Mike Tirico will take over for Costas, who called him "an able successor." The network said Tirico will also handle hosting duties on Football Night in America. Over the past quarter century, Costas hosted coverage for eleven Olympics, including last year's Summer Games in Rio.
