Smash Mouth and Los Lonely Boys Set to Rock Alamodome
SAN ANTONIO, TX - Ryan Sanders Baseball is proud to announce that Smash Mouth and Los Lonely Boys will headline the postgame concerts at H-E-B Big League Weekend. The concerts, presented by H-E-B and Pepsi, take place on the centerfield stage following the games between the Texas Rangers and Cleveland Indians March 17-18.
Smash Mouth will get their game on and go play at the iconic Alamodome in Downtown San Antonio after the game Friday, March 17. Following game two on Saturday, March 18, heaven won’t be far away as Los Lonely Boys take the stage.
“We are excited to add two iconic musical groups to our H-E-B Big League Weekend lineup,” said J.J. Gottsch, H-E-B Big League Weekend Executive Director. “Fans will get the unique opportunity to come down the playing field after the game to listen to these great bands.”
California-based Smash Mouth is best known for their hit singles “Walkin’ on the Sun,” “All Star” and a cover of The Monkees’ “I’m a Believer.” Since their founding in 1994, the group has released seven albums, including “Astro Lounge,” which quickly hit triple platinum.
With their unique San Angelo, Texas flair, Los Lonely Boys has been rocking out for over two decades. The group’s self-proclaimed “Texican Rock n’ Roll” produced the hit “Heaven,” which shot all the way up to the top spot on Billboard’s adult contemporary chart in 2004. Los Lonely Boys’ fifth and most recent album “Revelation,” was released in 2014.
