Travelers who had been detained at DFW International Airport were released and reunited with their families Sunday.

President Trump is insisting that his executive order temporarily banning travelers from seven Muslim-majority countries is not a Muslim ban.  In a statement, the President said the travel ban is about "terror and keeping our country safe."  He pointed out that there are dozens of countries around that world that have Muslim majorities, most of which are not included in the executive order.  He also assured that visas from all countries will be handed out again once his administration has reviewed the policies and made sure they are as secure as possible.  He said his first priority is protecting the country.  Trump also knocked the media, accusing reporters of "falsely" claiming that the travel ban is about religion.

Large protests broke out at DFW International Airport following the order being issued.
