A man is clinging to life following an overnight shooting in one of the most dangers areas of the city, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say a man was sitting in a car in the parking lot of a convenience store in the 300 block of North New Braunfels, on the city's east side, when he was shot in the neck.
He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Police say a confrontation apparently preceded the shooting.
An acquaintance of the victim who had gone into the store told police he saw the victim arguing with some men before the shots were fired.
Police have a description of the suspects but so far, no arrests. They say robbery may have been a motive.
