Several school districts in the San Antonio are canceling classes on Election Day. Campuses are often used as polling locations, allowing many people not associated with the school to be on campus during class time. To be on the safe side, district officials decided to give students Tuesday off. Classes on Election Day are canceled in the school districts of Northside, North East, Judson, East Central, and Southwest, as well as IDEA Public Schools. Polling places will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
