The Cowboys were handed their third straight loss in Week Nine. Dallas fell to the Atlanta Falcons 27-21 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Dak Prescott completed 18-of-24 passes for 133 yards and a touchdown before departing with a hamstring injury and being replaced by Cooper Rush. Rush went 13-of-25 for 115 yards and a TD. Rico Dowdle and Jalen Tolbert each had a receiving TD. Dowdle also led the team with 75 rushing yards. Brandon Aubrey converted both of his field goal attempts as the Cowboys slipped to 3-and-5. They return home to host the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 10.
