The Texans are taking the field for Thursday Night Football. Houston will visit Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets tonight at MetLife Stadium. Safety Jimmie Ward, offensive lineman Jarrett Patterson, running back Dameon Pierce and linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair have already been ruled out for the game due to injury. In other news, the team has promoted running back J.J. Taylor to the active roster from the practice squad. The Texans have won four of their last five and sit atop the AFC South at 6-and-2.
