An Austin-based Tex-Mex chain is moving its headquarters to Florida. Darden Restaurants, Inc., finalized a deal to acquire Chuy's last Friday for $605 million. With the completion of the deal, Chuy's will relocate to Orlando. Darden also owns Olive Garden, Longhorn Steakhouse, and Ruth's Chris, among others. Chuy's was founded in Austin in 1982, and has expanded to more than 100 restaurants in 15 states.
