Uvalde school officials will be picking a name for the new elementary school being born out of tragedy. School board members will meet today to choose a name for the new school that will open next fall. That school will replace Robb Elementary School, which was closed after 19 students and two teachers were shot and killed by a gunman on campus in 2022. Family members of the victims are expected to be at today's meeting to weigh in on potential names and other ways to honor the victims.
