A 36-year-old babysitter is facing charges after the baby she was watching over was fatally mauled by dogs in San Antonio. Deputies say Heather Rodriguez was watching the one-year-old at Rodriguez's home when the woman left and told her 13-year-old daughter to watch over the child. The dogs allegedly broke into the room and mauled the child before the teen was able to call 911. The child was taken to a hospital with severe head and throat injuries and died from those wounds Monday night. Rodriguez was initially charged with injury to a child but could now face upgraded charges due to the baby's death.
