The Astros are looking to keep their season alive. Houston lost to the Detroit Tigers 3-1 in Game One of the AL Wild Card Series at Minute Maid Park. Yordan Alvarez and Alex Bregman each had two hits while Yainer Diaz drove-in the team's lone run on an RBI single in the ninth inning. Starting pitcher Framber Valdez was charged with the loss after he allowed three runs through four-and-a-third frames. The Astros will host the Tigers in Game Two this afternoon. Right-hander Hunter Brown is slated to start opposite Detroit southpaw Tyler Holton.
