Astros Lose To Mariners In Series Finale

The Astros were dealt a loss in their final home game of the regular season. Houston lost to the Seattle Mariners 8-1 in the series finale of a three-game set at Minute Maid Park. Victor Caratini drove-in the team's lone run of the game on an RBI single in the third inning. Starting pitcher Yusei Kikuchi was charged with the loss and dropped to 9-and-10 after striking out eight and allowing two unearned runs through six frames. The Astros have lost three of four to sit at 86-and-73. They will travel to play the Cleveland Guardians tomorrow night. Right-hander Ronel Blanco is set to start opposite Cleveland southpaw Joey Cantillo.
