Annual Swarm Of Butterflies Migrates Through San Antonio

An annual migration of millions of butterflies is heading through San Antonio. The American snout butterfly gets its name from its long nose. Its grayish-brown camouflaged wings often cause it to be mistaken for a moth. The butterflies usually head across the I-35 corridor to South Texas from early August to late September. During that time, expect a large number of the bugs to end up splattered on your windshield.
