A Texas congressman is leading the GOP's rebuke of President Joe Biden's disastrous 2021 withdrawal from Afghanistan. Rep. Michael McCaul of Austin is the chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, which will release its report on the Afghanistan debacle next Monday. The report claims Biden ignored the advice his senior national security advisors to carry out the withdrawal, which handed Afghanistan over to the Taliban, along with billions of dollars' worth of U.S. military vehicles and equipment. During the pullout, 13 American service members were killed in a Taliban attack.
