Several activities are planned in San Antonio on Wednesday to commemorate 9/11. The 9/11 Memorial Climb attracts first responders from around the state and the nation to climb the Tower of the Americas twice to meet and exceed the height of the World Trade Center Towers. The climb starts at 8 a.m. The Canyon Lake Professional Firefighters Association will host the annual Freedom Walk. The firefighter walk is at 8 a.m., followed by a ceremony at 9, and the Freedom Walk across Canyon Lake Dam afterward. San Antonio College and St. Mary's University are also planning memorial activities.
