Boerne city officials are confirming that the bleachers that collapsed at the Kendall County Fair Grounds hadn't been inspected. The bleachers in the rodeo arena partially collapsed on August 31st, injuring a dozen people. Officials announced on Thursday that the bleachers had been salvaged from an older structure, and welding work had been done on them as late as the day before the rodeo. The damaged bleachers will be inspected within a week, and a structural report is expected within three-weeks.
