Astros Lose To Reds

The Astros lost to the Reds for the second straight day. Houston fell to Cincinnati 12-5 at Great American Ball Park. Jon Singleton hit his 13th home run of the season on a solo shot in the seventh inning. Chas McCormick was 2-for-3 with an RBI, while Zach Dezenzo had a team-high two RBIs. Starting pitcher Spencer Arrighetti was charged with his 12th loss after allowing nine runs in less than an inning. The Astros remain atop the AL West at 75-and-64. They visit the Reds again this afternoon. Right-hander Hunter Brown is slated to start opposite Cincinnati righty Rhett Lowder.
