Langford, Rangers Defeat Yankees On Walk-Off Grand Slam

Wyatt Langford hit a walk-off grand slam in the bottom of the ninth inning to lift the Rangers to a dramatic victory over the Yankees in Arlington. Texas downed New York 7-4 at Globe Life Field. The grand slam marked Langford's 10th home run of his rookie season. Josh Jung had a strong day at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a homer and two RBIs. Walter Pennington earned his first career win in relief.

The Rangers have won three of four and sit third in the AL West of 66-and-73.

They close out their series against the Yankees tonight. Right-hander Nathan Eovaldi is slated to start opposite New York righty Marcus Stroman.
