Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick is creating a new political action committee to support the activities of the Senate's conservative majority. Patrick announced the formation of the Texas Senate Leadership Fund yesterday. The lieutenant governor said the Senate has led on issues like border security, education and property taxes and needs resources to help fulfill future goals. A spokesperson said the new fund has yet to get any donations.
