The Cowboys are heading into the regular season without a key defensive player. DaRon Bland suffered a stress fracture in his foot and is expected to miss six-to-eight weeks. The team hopes he can return sometime in mid-October, with the bye week taking place on the 20th. The Pro Bowl corner picked off nine passes last season and returned five of them for touchdowns. He had five interceptions in his rookie year after he was taken in the fifth round of the 2022 draft.
