San Antonio City Council isn't proceeding at this time with a proposed curfew in Hemisfair Park. Following a discussion of the matter in Thursday's meeting, council members decided to table a vote on the curfew. Proponents say the curfew is intended to cut down crime in the area. Opponents of the curfew wondered how it would affect tourism and local businesses. Mayor Ron Nirenberg and the council members decided not to vote on the proposal for now, though it may be brought up for discussion again in October.
