The Astros bolstered their bullpen with a move at the trade deadline. Houston has acquired left-handed pitcher Caleb Ferguson from the New York Yankees in exchange for minor league pitcher Kelly Austin and 750-thousand dollars in international bonus money. Ferguson is 1-and-3 with a 5.13 ERA and one save through 42 appearances this season. In other news, Houston has transferred right fielder Kyle Tucker to the 60-day injured list due to a right shin contusion. Tucker had not played since June 3rd after batting .266 with 19 home runs and 40 RBIs through 60 games played.
