Rangers Silence White Sox

The Texas Rangers completed a four-game sweep of the Chicago White Sox with a 2-1 win at Globe Life Field. Marcus Semien tied the game at one with a solo home run in the bottom of the third before Texas scored the go-ahead run on an RBI groundout in the fourth. Max Scherzer struck out nine and allowed just one run on three hits in six innings en route to his second win, while David Robertson earned his second save. The Rangers have won five in-a-row and sit third in the AL West at 51-and-52. They travel to face the Toronto Blue Jays tonight. Left-hander Andrew Heaney is slated to start opposite Toronto southpaw Yusei Kikuchi.
