Rangers Drop Series To Padres

The Rangers dropped their series to the Padres following a 3-1 loss in the finale from Globe Life Field. Wyatt Langford drove in the team's only run with a single in the sixth inning. Max Scherzer got saddled with the loss after giving up three runs on six hits over six-plus innings. Texas has lost eight of its last 10 games and sits third in the AL West at 39-and-48. The Rangers return to the diamond tonight when they host the Rays.
