The Rangers were swept by the Mariners. Texas lost to Seattle 5-0 in the series finale of its three-game set at T-Mobile Park. Andrew Knizner and Nathaniel Lowe were the lone players to record a single hit for Texas in the setback. Starting pitcher Dane Dunning was tagged with the loss and dropped to 4-and-6 after striking out eight batters and allowing two runs through four-and-two-thirds innings. The Rangers have lost three in-a-row and sit second in the AL West at 33-and-38. They return home to host the New York Mets tonight. Right-hander Jon Gray will start opposite New York southpaw David Peterson.
