The Rangers notched their second straight win. Texas beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 4-2 in the first outing of a two-game set at Globe Life Field. Corey Seager hit his 12th home run of the season on a three-run shot in the fifth inning. Josh Smith also drove-in a run. Andrew Heaney earned his first win of the year after putting together two-and-a-third scoreless innings of relief. Kirby Yates recorded his eighth save as the Rangers improved to 26-and-29. They host the D-Backs again this afternoon. Right-hander Dane Dunning is slated to start opposite Arizona righty Ryne Nelson.
