Incumbent Republican U-S Congressman Tony Gonzales is the narrow winner of Tuesday's primary runoff in District 23. Gonzales defeated YouTuber and gunmaker Brandon Herrera by just over 400 votes out of more than 29,000 cast. He will now face Democrat S. Limon in November's general election. District 23 extends from Bexar County to El Paso, covering a long stretch of the Texas-Mexico border in between.
