Police are investigating after an elderly woman was killed by a stray bullet in downtown San Antonio on Sunday night. Police Chief William McManus said that 80-year-old Heidi Silkworth was from the DFW area and had just attended a graduation at the Alamodome before she was killed in a crossfire. Two groups of men were involved in a shootout, and one of them, a 19-year-old, was critically wounded. McManus says that when an arrest is made, the suspect will face charges of murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
