Karnes County officials are searching for a federal inmate who escaped Thursday night from the Karnes County Immigration Processing Center.
Officials said Yonathan Eluid Castaneda-Flores of Honduras was last seen hopping the fence and running away from the facility toward FM 99.
He was described as a Hispanic male, approximately 20 years of age, with short dark hair, wearing a dark blue prison issued inmate uniform consisting of a shirt, pants, and dark shoes with white soles.
Karnes County residents are asked to be on alert and call 911 if you spot him.
