The Rangers were shutout at home. Texas lost to the Washington Nationals 1-0 at Globe Life Field. The Rangers managed six hits. Starting pitcher Andrew Heaney fell to 0-and-4 after allowing one run through seven innings. The Rangers had a two-game winning streak snapped to slip to 16-and-15. They close out their series against Washington this afternoon. Right-hander Nathan Eovaldi will start opposite Nats southpaw Mitchell Parker.
