Astros Lose To Cubs

The Astros suffered their third straight loss. Houston fell to the Chicago Cubs 7-2 in its series opener at Wrigley Field. Jake Meyers hit his third home run of the season on a solo shot in the fifth inning. Yainer Diaz brought home Houston's only other run of the game. Starting pitcher J.P. France fell to 0-and-3 after allowing five runs and totaling six strikeouts through five innings of action. The Astros are now 7-and-17 heading into another matchup with Chicago tonight.
