The Rangers failed to win their home series finale against Oakland. Texas fell to the Athletics 1-0 at Globe Field Park. Adolis Garcia finished the day 1-for-3 as he recorded the lone hit of the game for the Rangers. Starting pitcher Jon Gray was handed the loss after he had nine strikeouts and let up the game's only run through five innings of action. The Rangers are now 7-and-6. They will visit the Houston Astros tonight. Right-hander Dane Dunning is scheduled to start opposite Houston righty J.P. France.
