The Hemisfair district will soon be home to a covered basketball court. A donation of nearly two-million-dollars from the McCombs Foundation and Spurs Give will make the court a reality. A press release says the Red & Charline McCombs Community Court will be near the Tower of the Americas, easily accessible to residents of downtown San Antonio. Construction of the covered court will begin sometime this spring.
