Rangers Lose To Cubs

The Rangers failed to begin the new season with a sweep. Texas lost to the Chicago Cubs 9-5 at Globe Life Field. Marcus Semien was 2-for-5 with three RBIs and a run scored, while Wyatt Langford drove-in a pair of runs. Jose Leclerc was handed the loss on the mound after he allowed four earned runs in less than an inning of work. The Rangers fell to 2-and-1. They will visit the Tampa Bay Rays this evening for the start of three-game set.
