San Antonio police are investigating an attempted murder-suicide that left a man dead and a woman wounded on Thursday night. Officers responded around 7:30 p.m. to the reported shooting at a home on Champlain Drive near Nacogdoches Road. They found a 53-year-old man and a 51-year-old woman with gunshot wounds. The man was dead at the scene, and the woman was hospitalized in critical condition. Their names haven't been released.
