Houston Fends Off Texas A&M In Second Round Of NCAA Tournament

Houston needed overtime to take down Texas A&M in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The top-seeded Cougars defeated the ninth-seeded Aggies 100-95 at the FedEx Forum in Memphis. Emanuel Sharp paced the Cougars with 30 points, while Jamal Shead posted a double-double with 21 points and 10 assists. Houston advances to face fourth-seeded Duke in the Sweet 16. Tyrece Radford led Texas A&M with 27 points and 15 rebounds in the setback. The Aggies wrap up the season at 21-and-15.
